Account Requirements
- Maintain your account in good standing*
- No past charge-offs
- Sign up for e-statements
Upgrade to Free Checking
- No NSF items for a rolling 12 month period
- Have a credit core of 600+
- Complete the BALANCE Checking Account Management program with a minimum quiz score of 80%
- Request to switch to the Free Checking account (member responsible for initiating request)
*To maintain your account in good standing:
- Member has an account with MountainCrest CU for at least 90 days
- Member is age 18 or over
- Member keeps or brings account to a positive balance at least once every 10 days
- Member is current on all loans and obligations
- Member has no past charge-offs that have not been fully recovered
- There are no tax levies, garnishments, or other legal action taken against the accounts
