The principle of "people helping people" is a core belief of our retired President/CEO Bob Schumacher. In his honor, we have established a scholarship program to support the educational endeavors of our members. We will award up to four $3,000 scholarships to high school seniors, college or technical students who demonstrate academic achievement and community involvement and/or work history. 

2026 Scholarship Recipients 

Congratulations to Milee Yanagida, Ella Hakso, Zack Binz, and Zachary Brown who have been awarded $3,000 each toward their higher education. 

Milee Yanagida will be attending Washington State University, Ella Hakso is enrolled at Grand Canyon University, and Zachary Brown & Zack Binz will both be pursuing their degrees at University of Washington.
